Coastal Courses 2008
The start and finish lines for Coastal Courses 1 to 6 shall be Line Number
1.
- FILEY SHORT
Filey Brigg Buoy to Starboard, No 1 Buoy to Port.
- FILEY LONG
No O Buoy to Starboard, No G Buoy to Starboard, No O Buoy to Starboard, Filey
Brigg Buoy to Starboard, No 1 Buoy to Port.
- HORNSEA SHORT
No 9 Buoy to Port, No 3 Buoy to Starboard, No 8 Buoy to Port, Hornsea Sewer
Buoy to Starboard, No 8 Buoy to Starboard, No 1 Buoy to Starboard.
- HORNSEA LONG
No 8 Buoy to Port, No W Buoy to Port, No 8 Buoy to Port, Hornsea Sewer Buoy
to Starboard, No 8 Buoy to Starboard, No 1 Buoy to Starboard.
- WITHERSEA
No 8 Buoy to Port, Canada Wreck Buoy to Starboard, No 8 Buoy to Starboard,
No 1 Buoy to Starboard.
- SCARBOROUGH AND BACK
Pass to Seaward of Filey Brigg Buoy, cross SYC finishing Line South to North
by leaving SYC outer limit mark to Starboard, pass to Seaward of Filey Brigg
Buoy, No 1 Buoy to Port.
- SPECIAL COASTAL
Refer to separate written Sailing Instructions.
Coastal Courses may be displayed by way of a red or a green numeral tile.
The colour of the numeral is of no relevance to the course to be sailed.
A Coastal Race may include a Bay Course after the Coastal Course in which
case the bay course letter will be displayed below the coastal course numeral
and the bay course shall be commenced from No 1 at the end of the coastal course
irrespective of the start line denoted on the bay course card.
