Members and their Guests 2010

The use of electric will be £2 a night or £12. a week.
This is pending card meters being fitted.
  2. All casual camping by club members must only be in the Paddock. The large Regatta field may well be booked out for paying caravan rallies. Please be respectful of other members, keep noise to a minimum after 11pm. Caravans may only be left unattended for 24hr in any one week as we have limited space and is unfair to others.
  3. We do not have a licence to allow members of the public to camp, but some National caravan and camping groups may book organised rallies with us.
  4. This is a members only camping field, family and friends may only visit and park in the car park (not in the paddock), if you wish for a friend or family member to stay overnight this must be by prior arrangement, they must only stay 3 nights in any 1 year, after 3 nights they will be asked to become members.
  5. Camping is 1 unit and 1 car ,i.e.( caravan, awning, car) or (camper, awning, car) (if your camper has no awning a tent is permitted) there must be at least 3 meters between you and the next unit, do not have electric cables crossing the field as this is hazardous. Electric hook ups are on a first come first serve basis. Tow hitches must face out in case of fires
  6. Ball games and bicycles are not permitted in the Paddock or car park; please use the beach or the regatta field if empty.
  7. When using the shower blocks please rinse off all sand at the wash off point outside the block before entering, this will prevent sandy floors and blocked drains. You must clean up after yourselves.
  8. Anyone under the age of 16 must have a parent or guardian on site at all times, no children under the age of 16 permitted in the shower blocks without adult supervision.
  9. Drinking water taps are placed around the Paddock to fill water butts, these are not washing off points or a place to rinse your toilets out, and an Elsan point for your toilet and waste water is situated at the side of the cottage.
  10. Open fires are not permitted on any part of the site or on the beach, barbeques are fine, but should be sited well away from flammable materials or liquids and must be at least 450mm above the ground. Please carefully flush “instant barbeques” with water before putting them on the ground or disposing of them. If using the patio area next to the cottage please clean it when you leave.
  11. All caravans, campers and tents are the owner’s responsibility including their contents. RYYC does not and will not except liability for loss or damage.
  12. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times in the Paddock and car park, please clean up after your pet and do not use the pots from the transline or cottage to water them. Please close all gates on a night.

These rules have been set to make and ensure a pleasant stay when camping, please take them into account. Thank you.
Enjoy your stay.
Please help us by taking home as much rubbish as you can.
