Thank you to those members who came to help out this weekend and worked so hard, both at the main clubhouse and at Blyth Park. The atmosphere at Blyth was fantastic with a real ‘can do’ ethos evident – even the fog on Sunday didn’t manage to dampen spirits! Tasks completed include re-roofing the Transline, treating the woodwork on the cadet building and decking and a significant clearing of the compound. The Transline was given an internal ‘spring clean’ and the whole Park looked absolutely transformed. Back at the main clubhouse, the front dining room was stripped and re-painted from head to toe. The velvet curtains have been dry cleaned and will be re-hung with new poles to finish a fabulous looking dining area. The Flag Officers cannot thank enough those members who came along to help transform these areas of the club.
