Blyth Park - the Jewel in the RYYC crown.

If you have not visited Blyth Park recently you really should. The two main projects are obvious on arrival, we have a new launching slipway and the old "blue block" has been totally refurbished and is now a Cadet Training room with junior male and female showers and toilets. Alongside is a sail loft for the club boats equipment and attached is a small compound which is for our club boats. Other not so immediately obvious improvements include a new to us tractor and a brand new Humber rib and engine.

The club has also purchased four single seat kayaks and two double seat kayaks which are available to members and cadets subject to the relevant experience. During 2024 we are hoping to purchase a couple of RS Fevas which are recommended by the RYA as an excellent and exciting boat for the juniors. Watch out for fund raising events.
